The world’s first nuclear weapon, code name “Gadget,” was detonated in New Mexico on July 16, 1945.* Tourists can now visit the Trinity Site on the U.S. Army’s White Sands Missile Range to view the epicenter of a highly secret government conspiracy involving top physicists called the Manhattan Project. This was really a great article. I forgot about Armand Hammer, too. Big oil = Red Bourgeoisie: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armand_Hammer I recently read that the Communist Party had, indeed, infiltrated the Trotskyist predecessor of the Social Workers Party and that’s how they knew where to find Trotsky. Bernie was an elector for the SWP in 1980 and again in 1984. He was pushing 40 years old at the time. What I didn’t know is that ca 1980 there was a schism within the party with one faction moving away from Trotsky. At any rate, the difference between Stalin and Trotsky was supposed to be that Trotsky wanted worldwide revolution. But, ultimately, the Stalinists were working all over the world, too. On a side note: Bernie’s also saved lots of money by not paying the fees required to run as a Democrat. These fees keep the offices open to support poorer candidates so they don’t have to be dependent on the big donors. When Democrats complain that he isn’t a Democrat, it’s not because of his politics, but that he hasn’t paid in his membership fees through the years.
