Beau Biden’s wife, Hallie, wanted to ensure his work would not be abandoned with his death, and so she helped spearhead the launch of the foundation. In addition to working with other organizations and government bodies, it’s also aided by former Vice President Biden and other members of the Biden family [17]
It appears to have been set up in 2015/2016 to “honor the life of Joseph R ‘Beau’ Biden III and to continue his life’s work: ensuring that all children are free from the threat of abuse”. It is a 501 (c) 3 organisation. EIN 47-4507397
