He was in charge of the most powerful federal court in New York and maybe the nation. He was fired by DoJ boss William Barr.
Many interesting theories appear on the internet connecting this action to the arrest of uber-pedo, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Another interesting development is that it was just announced that Berman is slated to testify before a House committee in a (ahem) CLOSED DOOR session next week.
Why Closed Door I wonder? Discussing certain things (names?) that pertain to National Security perhaps? We need to know everything — but of course we can’t. Need to be protected from disturbing truths, ya know!! (We’re children.)
